Don’t Nurse that Pain

Sickness will not overwhelm you as long as you resist it.

Thanks to a bad tooth, I’ve had firsthand experience with pain, that stout menacing demon. Never believe what the Doctors say, pain is not natural it’s from Hell! To make our lives agonizing. The good news is it’s incompatible with the Life of God.

When pain surfaces in our bodies, it doesn’t mean the word of God isn’t true. The Bible notes,

Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering… (Isaiah 53:4NIV)

The presence of pain in our bodies doesn’t mean Jesus is fake. It’s only a test of our Faith; it’s Satan and his Demons trying us to see if we’re strong. Yes they can try us, they have permission to test us…

For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. (2.Corinthians 4:17)

Every time we surmount their test we ascend the glory ladder.

It is such an understatement to classify physical pain as Light affliction, there aint nothing light about having your nerves vibrate with pain impulses, yet, it will surely pass. Pain will pass if you make no room for it in your body, even those Doctors have termed incurable. Whilst in the period of that searing discomfort, confess that there is no room for pain in your body. Reject it, even if its adamant.

If the Doctors try to normalize the pain and make you relate with it as yours, refuse! You know what pain really is, it’s a demon. I understand physical pain can be so intense to the extent we may not be able to speak, in that case use your mind. Resist the negative thoughts by meditating on God’s Words.

 Declare this,

Sickness has no place in my body, infection cannot thrive in my blood, pain cannot Lord it over my body because He that raised Jesus from the dead lives in me, He quickens my mortal body.
