I’ve known since I only wanted to do the things others weren’t doing.
Flowing against the current
Reaching beyond the skies
Dreaming out of this world.
The things my mind conceive, the visions of my inexplicable mind.
I’ve always known.
How I look like others but see differently,
Mama said it,
Teacher at school spotted it her first day in my class.
Beyond those deep brown eyes, the fixed gaze, the furrowed space between the mind’s windows.
Now I agree with scriptures,
I can’t be normal.
Say something else,
Just not normal.
